Deborah Bonham Band - Powerful Blues & Classic Rock

On Saturday 7th September we are very excited to welcome the legendary Deborah Bonham and the band, described by Classic Rock Magazine as "[a] powerful rock band steeped in the primal intimacy of the Blues", to JJJ!

Deborah Bonham is a Redditch native (where she grew up with her brother, Led Zeppelin's John Bonham), and over the course of an impressive career has established herself as one of the finest Blues, Rock and Soul singers that the UK has produced. A string of critically acclaimed original albums and captivating standing ovation concert performances, from the Royal Albert Hall and London Palladium, to the Amphitheatres of the USA 'Stars Align Tour' with Paul Rodgers, Jeff Beck and Ann Wilson of Heart, have consistently garnered glowing reviews.

The band features Belfast born Guitarist Peter Bullick, lauded by the press for his passionate playing, exudes his influences from the world's finest Guitarists in every note of his performance. Free/Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers chose Bullick to fill the shoes of the late Paul Kossoff, in his Free Spirit Band. Rodgers and Bullick, along with the rest of Bonham’s band, G Louis (Keys), Rich Newman (Drums) and E Rowley (Bass), extensively toured the UK and USA, culminating in the Billboard Chart #2 album and DVD, 'Paul Rodgers’ Free Spirit Live at The Royal Albert Hall London'.

Support is from "The Father & Son Dynamic Duo" Ben & Stu providing a set of original material sprinkled with covers that have inspired them over the years (the keen eyed amongst you may recognise Ben as previously frontman for Joe Joe Jims' soul favourites Rattlesnake Jake).

Tickets are for ‘general admission’ giving you access to any available seating or standing areas. There is no assigned seating, any seating that is available can be taken on a first come first served basis.

Access to Joe Joe Jims via the front doors is on the level with the frontage and footpath without the need to negotiate any steps or changes in surface height.
